Todd Kellogg is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked in the field of disabilities since 1994 and in December 2001, established a private practice that is currently based in Trumbull, CT that operates under the name, PositiveFamilyBehavior, LLC. Mr. Kellogg specializes in providing Structural Family & Behavior Therapy to resolve challenging behaviors in children both at home and in school, to build a partnership between home and school, to increase parenting skills, and to work on relationship issues within families that have members with special needs. The focus of treatment is often the development and implementation of a Positive Behavior and Parenting Plan (PBPP) to address difficult behaviors while teaching new skills and promoting alternative behaviors. The therapy process can include Functional Assessments, School Consultations, Family Therapy, Individual Therapy, and Parent Coaching (instruction and modeling of parenting strategies during peak times of difficult behavior). Mr. Kellogg’s practice includes a number of qualified therapists where a team approach is used to best meet the needs of the client.
Before entering private work full-time, Todd Kellogg had worked as a Behavior & Family Therapist for the Greenwich Autism Program of Abilis (formerly ARC-Greenwich). At the Greenwich Autism Program (GAP), Mr. Kellogg worked primarily with families of children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. While at GAP, Mr. Kellogg also developed a series of Social Skills Groups for children with Aspergers and High Functioning Autism. Mr. Kellogg joined the Greenwich Autism Program in March 2002, became Assistant Director in 2005, and from April 2006 to August 2008 acted as a consultant.
Mr. Kellogg graduated from Fairfield University (Fairfield, CT) with a Masters in School Psychology in 1995 and with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in January 2001. Graduate level, online course work in Applied Behavioral Analysis occurred from September 2005 through December 2007 through the University of North Texas. Mr. Kellogg received his LMFT credentials in June 2004 and his BCBA credentials in September 2010.
